Make Your Computer Respond To Your Voice
Sounds interesting, right? With "Windows Speech Recognition", you can easily do what you were currently imagining.
This trick is not for Windows XP and older versions.....
Setting Up Speech Recognition
Go to Control Panel>All Control Panel Items>Speech Recognition
Firstly, click on set up microphone, and choose the microphone type you have. The process is simple and would be completed in a couple of minutes.
When you get your microphone settled, take the speech tutorial by clicking on that option and learn the commands from the computer itself. The computer will teach you various commands, including It may take much time but this will result in your computer to better understand you..
The thing you will need during this process is PATIENCE, which is the key. You may need to spend half-an-hour or so during this process. Just don't hurry and the rest will be fine.
Now, choose train your computer to better understand you. It is where you will be asked to say what is written on the text, to make computer understand how you speak and your pronounciation.
Now, you can start speech recognition and make your computer talk.
Using Speech Recognition
Once you have completed the process, you can start using speech recognition. Remember, whenever you forget any command, just say "What can I say?" or and Windows Speech Recognition will open up a window that will show you all the commands. If the command is not listed say "Show Numbers" and numbers will be shown on every option. Then say the number and then OK.
Remember to speak clear and loud while using speech recognition. The distance between the microphone and your lips should be around one and a half inch.
Windows Speech Recognition will start every time you start the computer. You can also start it manually when needed. On starting, it will show as sleeping. Say "Start Listening" and the computer will listen to everything you say.
